Why we ask at all

Writing careful guides, checking them against official sources, and keeping them up to date takes time. A few readers have asked how they can say thank you. This page is the answer.

Ways to help

• Share a guide with a friend, neighbor, or family member who might find it useful. This helps the most, and it’s free.
• Tell us what to write next. Email hello@steadytap.org with a task you’d like help with.
• Leave a tip, if you’d like to and can afford it.

We aren’t set up to accept tips yet. For now, sharing a guide is the best way to help. Thank you!

Our promises

• Tipping never unlocks anything. Everyone gets the same guides.
• We’ll never ask for money in a guide, in a pop-up, or with a countdown.
• We’ll never ask you to pay with a gift card, wire transfer, or cryptocurrency. If someone claiming to be us does, it’s a scam.
