How we handle money

Steady Tap is free. To help cover costs, we may use optional tips and affiliate links, and someday sponsors. These rules always apply.

1. Always labeled. Every sponsored message or affiliate link will be clearly marked "Sponsored" or "Affiliate link."
2. Free content comes first. Sponsors never replace or block a guide, and you never have to buy anything to follow our steps.
3. Relevant and reputable only. We consider only products and services that are useful to our readers, such as accessible devices, trusted security tools, and real services.
4. No pressure. No pop-ups, no countdown timers, no scare tactics, and no hidden tracking tricks.
5. Sponsors don't edit. Sponsors have no say in what our guides recommend.

Affiliate links

An affiliate link means the store may pay Steady Tap a small fee if you buy after clicking it. The price is the same for you. Every affiliate link is marked “Affiliate link,” and the page explains this before the links. Free options are always listed first. Affiliate links appear only on our Recommended tools page, never inside a guide’s steps.
